The Element of Defence

Long ago, a great storm of fire, water, earth, wind, and ether covered the realm of Paeladia. With Paeladia covered in chaos came the wretched hell-spawn. For hundreds of years, they terrorized the peoples of Paeladia and displeased the Gods. Urandil, the one true, captured the elemental storm and with the power of Krodos, blessed five worthy champions with the duty of gatekeeping the sheer power of Paeladia, oathing to protect the lands of Paeladia. With the eroding passage of time The keeper of the ether fell to darkness seeking to harness the power of the Elemental storm. As the dark clouds slowly returned, the air grew poisonous. And so came the return of chaos. The disruption between the remaining 4 elements spiraled out of control as the monsters slowly returned. The Elemental instability has caused havoc throughout the realm and its champions. Champions who once excelled in balance spiral out of control, now reversing roles and shifting forms, creating a greater storm and disrupting the lands.
